The street photography club basel was created in September 2022 by the founders Jérémy Schmit and Antoine Georgelin.

The goal of this club is to bring together photographers of all levels around a common passion which is street photography.

Allowing people to interact in person and outside of social media is the fundamental vision that all members have.

Democratizing the practice of street photography and presenting it to a wider audience is also essential for the spcb.

Since the beginning of 2024, the club has also officially become a "Verein" in order to grow and offer larger activities and projects to its members.
