Denisse Dounce

Born in Mexico City, I picked up my dad’s Olympus at 13 and never really gave it back. What started with film and darkrooms turned into a love for photography as a way of seeing and sharing the world around me.

I’m especially drawn to reflections – I’m always on the lookout for them – as a way to play with perspective and reimagine everyday scenes. I enjoy capturing candid moments, small gestures, and the quiet geometry of the street. Living across Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and now Germany has changed the way I look at the world and what I choose to notice.

I studied photography in Mexico and Barcelona, but the street continues to be my best teacher. I’m still learning every time I head out with my camera.
