JEAN-CLAUDE MULLER
My interest in photography started at a very young age, probably at age six as a neighbor took me with him to a darkroom where I could make my own photograms, it was magical and the starting point of a long photographic journey.
As a young adult I learned photographic technique as an autodidact and in many workshops.
As time passed, I was more and more interested in photography as an art, searching for inspiration in museums, exhibitions, books, festivals meeting renowned photographers and training my eye.
Today my photography interest is in projects on a broad scale of genres, with mainly a surrealistic mood.
Technically I am interested in fine art finishing, rag and Awagami printing papers, framings …My preferred photographers from whom I get, my inspiration are Man Ray, Sally Man, Kertesz, Sieff and many others.
