Denisse Dounce
Born in Mexico City, I started photography at 13 after “stealing” my father’s camera. Street photography became my way of seeing the world differently, capturing fleeting moments, quiet geometry, and reflections that distort reality. It has opened doors to people and places I would have never experienced otherwise.
Reflejo 84
A reflection opens a doorway into another reality. Within the tunnel, a figure exists alongside the movement of the outside world, creating a space where different moments and perspectives converge.
The photograph plays with perception and invites the observer to slow down, look closer, and question the relationship between what is seen and what is understood. Between reality and reflection, a parallel world emerges.

Strangers in the Fog I (Paris)
A fleeting encounter where identities dissolve and silhouettes become stories. Hidden by the mist, strangers share the same space for a brief moment, connected only by their presence.
The fog removes the details that define us, leaving only traces of movement, distance, and human connection. In this uncertain landscape, each figure carries an unknown story — a reminder of the countless lives that cross our path without ever truly becoming known.

The Eye
Above the silhouettes of strangers, a glass dome emerges from the fog like a silent eye watching over them. While the figures below remain anonymous, the eye becomes a symbol of awareness, memory, and the unseen presence that surrounds our everyday lives.
The image invites us to reflect on the relationship between the observer and the observed. As we search for meaning in the lives of others, we become part of the same story – both witnesses and participants in a world where nothing is completely unseen.
